Kick-A-Thon

To Help In The Fight Against Juvenile Crime!

On October 21st, fourteen of our karate kids participated in a nation wide Kick-A-Thon to fight juvenile crime. It was also an attempt to break the world's record for the most kicks done in one hour in a nationwide effort (1,683,411 kicks). The event was sponsored by the Project Action Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Florida that helps at rish kids to get involved in worth while physical and cultural programs. Ninety percent of the money raised goes to our communities effort to help at risk kids.

Our karate kids did 29,534 kicks and raised $1350.00. Those that participated were: Nicholas Holcomb (2392 kicks), Connor Skaggs (1438 kicks) Brandon Keyser (2808 kicks), Emily Worrall (1765 kicks), Peter Worrall (1475 kicks), Trevor Fennessy (2116 kicks), Taylor Kirkpatrick (2020 kicks), John Wilkinson (2910 kicks), Curran Higgins (2509 kicks) and Ben Goodwin (3103 kicks).
